HEREMANS
Leo Heremans, the name in racing pigeon circles speaks for itself. Since getting back into pigeons, this was probably one of the names that I had carried with me from my interest in pigeons as a kid. Built for speed, these birds have adapted well in Australian conditions over the years and blended well with many families. They still dominate overseas and are also behind many of the new strains of birds that are at the top of the tree. A number of top lofts in Australia have had success pushing these birds out well into the mid-distance races, challenging their reputation as merely sprinters. We have a selection of these pigeons, based on the following reference birds.
