ABOUT US
Jonesy's Pigeon Lofts (JPL) is a small, family operated Racing Pigeon Stud located in Newcastle NSW Australia. I have been involved in breeding and racing performance animals for most of my life and have had pigeons on and off since I was a youngster.
My interest lies in breeding over and above racing although we have experienced success doing both. I am particularly interested in functional performance improvement through selective breeding practices.
We no longer race ourselves due to time constraints and have moved towards breeding and testing the bloodlines we have by supplying other lofts. This allows us to test each pairing under different training and feeding systems used by other flyers in different Federations and conditions.
We continuously look to acquire the best stock birds we can find from all around Australia and overseas. Our approach of selecting on both pedigree and performance has worked for us over time.
